When we punish people, we deprive them of their freedom to move freely.
Throughout the world we have found that putting someone in a confined space
is a sufficiently severe punishment that fits the most extreme crimes, such as murder.
Every animal that is confined, deprived of their freedom, removed from their own kind
is being subjected to severe punishment! And it is for life.
