Lemur (Ring-tailed)
Native To
Madagascar
Omnivores. In the wild they generally consume plants, leaves, flowers, nectar, fruit, sap, and bark, often supplementing their usual diet with insects, and small birds. In Madagascar Tamarind trees can provide up to half of the food a lemur eats in a given season.
We buy in Tamarind fruits year round as part of their varied diet, daily fresh browse and specialised primate leaf eater pellets to snack on between meals.
